Subscriptions & service policies

What your family’s subscription covers, with clear timelines for renewal and continued access.

One subscription for your family map.

One subscription covers a family map for up to six adults, including shared information, review reminders and each person’s personal release service.

Verification and authorized delivery are included in the family-map subscription. Recipients do not need to buy a subscription or pay a separate Dachuko release fee to receive the information.

5 GB for your family.

Your subscription includes 5 GB for documents and messages, including video. The allowance is pooled across your family map’s shared and personal records; each person’s access permissions still apply.

Video messages keep their uploaded quality unless you choose compression. Storage usage is visible, with a warning before you reach the limit and paid upgrades if you need more space.

At the limit, you can still access existing information within your permissions. Free up space or upgrade to add more files.

Automatic backup copies do not count toward your allowance. Information already stored remains backed up until its deletion deadline, including during read-only access when new uploads and changes pause.

Time to renew or keep a copy.

Failed renewals unrelated to the payer’s verified death follow this timeline:

  • Days 1–30: Normal service continues, with payment reminders.
  • Days 31–60: The map is read-only for viewing and exporting within your permissions. New uploads, updates, routine reminders and new release reviews stop. Renewal and deletion notices continue.
  • After day 60: Without renewal, the unpaid map closes and its stored data and backups are deleted.

You can renew before the map closes after day 60. Exports preserve your existing permissions and personal release restrictions. Closure does not affect unrelated member accounts or separately covered information.

See how Dachuko handles stored information when a map closes.

One less thing for your family to worry about.

After the payer’s death is verified, your family has 12 months from that date to view and export information within existing permissions, without another payment.

  • At least 60 days of normal service. New release reviews remain available. Any longer subscription period already paid for is honored. Another adult can take over billing before this service period ends to continue the plan.
  • Read-only access if nobody takes over. The subscription closes and cannot be renewed later. For the rest of the 12-month period, your family can view and export. New uploads, updates, routine reminders and check-ins stop; no new release reviews can begin.
  • Deletion at the 12-month deadline. The unpaid map’s stored data and backups are deleted, except for information needed to finish a review already underway. Deletion never cuts short a longer period already paid for.

Dachuko sends reminders before the billing deadline and before deletion. Taking over billing keeps everyone’s existing membership and record-access permissions in place.

A review already underway can finish.

Dachuko finishes a release review already started before normal service ends, and any authorized delivery, without another payment. Verification and the person’s recipient choices still apply.

If that work continues past the data-deletion deadline, only the information needed to finish it is kept until completion. Read-only access does not include new reviews, and nonpayment never unlocks information.
